Suitable For:

Surfers of beginner to advanced level who are able to catch their own waves confidently. You

must have the ability to paddle into waves unassisted.

Kids and Adults are both welcome to attend.

Days Itinerary:

Surfers choose which sessions they would like to participate in and book online. Gold Coast

Surf Experience has arranged a media pass allowing us to film within the pool complex. We will

be at the pool from 6am to 7pm. You need to arrive at least 30 minutes before your session!

First available session is 9am, the final available session begins at 6pm.

What Sessions Is It?

You can choose which sessions you do. We recommend the one below ⬇

Suggested Sessions:

We believe these sessions are the best for improvement.

9-10am Cruiser (rights) - Best suited for those new to the pool environment and wanting to

settle into catching easy slow waves to warm up for the day. Also great for advanced beginner

surfers.

NO coach in water for this session

10-11am Progressive Turns (rights) - best suited for surfers who participate in our regular

sessions (groms, ladies or privates). Able to perform basic turns and catch waves unassisted.

NO coach in water for this session12-1pm Intermediate (rights )- Best suited for surfers who are comfortable surfing shoulder

high waves and able to perform multiple basic turns on waves.

POSSIBLY NO coach in water for this session

2-3pm Advanced Turns (rights) - Best for surfers who are comfortable performing controlled

manoeuvres and looking to upskill technical aspects of their surfing.

COACH in water

4-5pm Intermediate (lefts) - Best suited for surfers who are comfortable surfing shoulder high

waves and able to perform multiple basic turns on waves.

No Coach in water for this session

6-7pm Intermediate Barrels (rights) - Ready to learn how to ride barrels? We will help you to

either get your first barrel or perfect your tube riding stance, technique and style. Tube time!

Surfers must pay for their surf session by booking via URBN Surf (Sydney).

Payment for coaching sessions to be made directly to Gold Coast Surf Experience.
