We’re looking for an experienced, motivated and ocean-loving surf coaches to join our team. Are you someone who can confidently deliver both learn to surf sessions for beginners and private coaching for advanced surfers wanting to level up their performance? We want to hear from you.

As part of our team, you’ll be guiding students through every stage of their surfing journey from their first wave to refining technique, confidence, and ocean awareness. We pride ourselves on offering professional, safe and fun coaching that brings out the best in every surfer.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Foundation Coaching Award.

• First Aid Certification.

• Ocean Surf Rescue Award.

• Blue Card (Working with Children).

• Valid drivers license and own transport.

• CPR Certification.

• Progressive Surf Coach Award. (preferable)

• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct surf coaching sessions for individuals of varying skill levels.

• Knowledge of teaching surfing techniques, safety guidelines, and ocean awareness.

• Ensure the safety of surfers at all times.

• Provide first aid and surf rescues if necessary.

• Maintain and care for surf equipment.

• Communicate effectively with students, parents and other staff members.

• Ability to read and comprehensively understand Gold Coast & Northern NSW surf forecasts and conditions.

• Ability to coach with video analysis and operating camera / filming at times.
